E glass lamination is very popular used for FRP composite reinforcement due to its high perforamnce,low weight and low cost. Regarding general lamination reinforcement,roving fabric (woven roving), combo mat, multi-axial, unidirectional are always used due to its low cost and stabile quality. The woven roving (roving fabric) is directly woven by E glass, S glass roving.They can be direct use without any further finish. Same weave as basalt fabric, kevlar fabric and carbon fabric.

FR4 is one kind substrate of PCB (printed circuit board) which is a thermosetting (epoxy) lamination plastic made by several layers of electric grade fiberglass fabric like style 106, 1080, 2116, 7628, 7638 etc.The fiberglass fabric remarkably increase the mecchanical strength and dielectric proeprties. 
Compared with FR4, G10 is also substrate of PCB.The difference is FR4 under UL94 V0 flame retarded. 


Fiberglass is made from molton minerals like silicate sand, limestone in the furnace melt at 1600C degree form at 1200C degree to cake yarn. This is single yarn for the electric grade fabric woven. After warping, slashing,fabric begin to weave at fast air jet Toyota looms.Accorting to the application for epoxy laminated board, electric grade glass fabric are typically weaved as plain by single yarn and keep best condition at dimension, area weight, thickness staibility. 

After loomstate glass fabric woven, slashing material(PVAc) plays a very negative role on compatiblity between glass fabric and polymers (resins, rubbers). It is necessary to remove slashing material from the loomstate glass fabric. 

There needs continous heat clean process to remove the slashing materials at 400C degree. White loomstate fabric turns brown. After second times heat treated at batch oven with 50 hours,Slashing materials are mostly removed. Fabric turns white back. Based on this fabric condition,a jet water can split the fiber yarn and make fiber more loose, increasing air permeability. Strength rentation keep approx 50%. LOI under 0.08%

After the slashing removed process (Heat clean/treated process),the fabric is finished by multiple silane sizing that is well compatible with epoxy resin systems.
 


This high quality loomstate eletric grade glass fabric is also excellent material used for polymer coating basis like PTFE, silicone, PU,aluminum foil, PVC etc. Best coating fabric needs best basis fabric.
   


Reinforcement and support on constructions,substrate,basis. Not only on composite reinforcement, fiberglass is also widely usd for construction material support, coating fabric basis, mica cloth tape. Roofing, aluminum foil, PVC carpet, pipe (CUI)
